There’s not much to say about a daiquiri except that they are yummy in the tummy and have to propensity to make the grumpiest of grumps a little more mellow.
Yes.  It is true.  Even a domestic goddess needs a little happy juice now and again.   So, this is how I make my frozen alcoholic smoothie from heaven . . . 
Strawberry-banana Daiquiri
Put two cups of crushed ice in a blender . . . top that with 3 ounces of rum, 1 ounce of Triple Sec, 2 ounces of lime juice, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, one whole banana, 6 large strawberries.  Blend on high until smooth.
Voila! An alcoholic, semi-nutritious stress killer in a glass!


 
 
It's just like a smoothie, and smoothies are healthy!!
