There is no disease that I spit on more than treachery.

Skullduggery . . . not a word; but skulduggery is.   Skulduggery means to sneak around doing naughty things and despite how it sounds, it has nothing to do with skulls or digging, so you can get visions of grave robbers out of your head.

The word has been in us in the United States since the 19th century but its origins are not here and are much older.  Skulduggery is, in actuality, a bastardization of the Scottish word skulduddery (sculdudrie), a word that has been in use at least as far back as the 1700's.  Skulduddery means a "breach of chastity"  or more specifically "fornication or adultery".

It’s not too much a stretch of the imagination for the meaning of a word to morph adultery to treachery.  They sorta kinda mean the same thing . . .

How cheerfully he seems to grin,
How neatly spreads his claws

Mustard Vinaigrette

1/2 Cup White Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
2 Teaspoons Salt
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
1 Cup Vegetable Oil
4 Drops Hot Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, honey, mustard, pepper, salt, garlic, oil and hot sauce until thoroughly combined. (I just combine everything in a mason jar and shake it up)  Chill until serving.
